Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting or knitting small, stuffed creatures—usually cute animals, food, dolls, or other whimsical characters. The word comes from a blend of “ami” (meaning knitted or crocheted) and “kurumi” (meaning wrapping), referring to the technique of wrapping yarn into soft, sculpted forms.

These handmade toys are more than just adorable; they’re a creative expression of craftsmanship and imagination.

Some may come with Safety eyes ~~ possible chocking hazard – – small parts. Please supervise individuals who put things in their mouths.
Not all of our Amigurumi have safety eyes. Ask us for more information

Warnings for stuffed toy safety eyes
• Choking hazard: Safety eyes are not safe for children under the age of three because a child can pull them off the toy and choke on them.
• Misleading name: The term “safety eyes” is misleading; they are designed to be securely attached, but they can still come loose.
• Not for sleep: Stuffed animals should not be in a baby’s sleep space to reduce the risk of suffocation, entrapment, and strangulation.
• Toddler risk: Even if attached properly, toddlers may have enough strength to pull them off.
• Better quality eyes: If you must use safety eyes, choose higher quality ones with more secure backing, but they are still not considered safe for under-three year olds
