Amigurumi and Decor
Crochet isn’t just for items you wear or use; it’s also a way to bring a touch of joy and creativity to your home. Amigurumi, or small crocheted toys, is a favorite among crafters and shoppers alike. These charming, tiny stuffed animals and characters are just so irresistibly cute. Kids love them, and, to be honest, adults can’t get enough of them either.
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting or knitting small, stuffed creatures—usually cute animals, food, dolls, or other whimsical characters. The word comes from a blend of “ami” (meaning knitted or crocheted) and “kurumi” (meaning wrapping), referring to the technique of wrapping yarn into soft, sculpted forms.
These handmade toys are more than just adorable; they’re a creative expression of craftsmanship and imagination.
Some may come with Safety eyes ~~ possible chocking hazard – – small parts. Please supervise individuals who put things in their mouths.

Warnings for stuffed toy safety eyes
• Choking hazard: Safety eyes are not safe for children under the age of three because a child can pull them off the toy and choke on them.
• Misleading name: The term “safety eyes” is misleading; they are designed to be securely attached, but they can still come loose.
• Not for sleep: Stuffed animals should not be in a baby’s sleep space to reduce the risk of suffocation, entrapment, and strangulation.
• Toddler risk: Even if attached properly, toddlers may have enough strength to pull them off.
• Better quality eyes: If you must use safety eyes, choose higher quality ones with more secure backing, but they are still not considered safe for under-three year olds
